Navigating Our Future

Established in 2003 as a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Eni & Hina Faleomavaega Foundation funds scholarships for undergraduate and trade school students of Pacific Island descent. We also support initiatives that benefit veterans and preserve Pacific Island culture, language, music, and dance.

Our Voyage

December 2003

Foundation established as 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

February 2017

Upon Eni's passing, an endowment was created in his name at BYU Hawaii to benefit Pacific Island students. Many helped raise $50,000 by December 2017.

April 2017

Faleomavaega's first Samoan music album was released on all major platforms (iTunes, Spotify, etc.). 100% percent of the net proceeds fund student scholarships.

February 2018

Established scholarships at American Samoa Community College (ASCC)

September 2018

Sponsor of the Samoan Language Symposium held in Provo, UT

December 2018

First 4 scholarships awarded at ASCC

January 2019

$20,725 gift-in-kind donated to the Fédération Tahitienne de football américain (equipment for youth programs) in Papeete, Tahiti

August 2020

All plans were in place for the first charity golf tournament at Thanksgiving Point Golf Course, but the Covid-19 global pandemic forced its cancellation. All fundraising paused until 2022.

1/1 Matching Gift Program established by anonymous donor up to $22,222

October 2023

Established new scholarships at Kahuku High School; service project for SVSG

Established new scholarships at the University of Utah

BYU Hawaii endowment fully, funded exceeding $100k; supported female student athletes in tennis at BYU and funded registration fees for BYU SOAR students
